.NET Domain Names
When the .NET universal domain extension was initially set up in 1985, together with the first domain extensions on the World Wide Web, it was meant to be used by Internet Service Providers or infrastructure organizations. As there were no particular terms about the usage of the TLD, though, dot NET domains were bought and used for diverse purposes and by a large number of people. This TLD represents a wonderful alternative to .COM, especially if the necessary domain with the latter domain extension is not available for registration.
Securing a .NET domain with our firm is easy and takes only a couple of minutes, in view of the fact that we partner with an ICANN-accredited registrar. You can register such a domain for an interval between 1 and 10 years, or, if you already own a domain, you can move it over to our firm and we will renew it once the transfer process is finished. Transfers are possible for all domains, which are at least sixty days old, given that they are not locked and that you have received an EPP transfer authorization key – security measures established by the dot NET Registry organization to prevent unauthorized transfers. You can easily modify the WHOIS contact information of the domain through your Control Panel, or, if you don't wish this info to be public at all, you can add a Whois Privacy Protection service, so no one will be able to view your real contact info.
The dot NET TLD supports internationalized names, so you can select whether you want to focus on a certain country or area using a domain name in the regional language, or the global online community – using a generic English name.
